"Love Letters to Myatt’s Fields" was created for Flip!, a temporary digital publication by Penguin Michael Joseph in collaboration with the University of the Arts London, celebrating the diverse voices of South London.

Set in the heart of Camberwell, Myatt’s Fields Park is a peaceful, leafy haven—where early morning dog walkers, weekend picnickers, and families all find a moment of calm in the city’s rhythm. For this project, a letterbox, along with some paper and pens, was placed at The Little Cat Café, inviting passersby to reflect on what the park means to them.

From locals who’ve grown up with the park to visitors discovering it for the first time, responses flowed in from all ages—each one a small, personal love letter. Together, they created a moving portrait of Myatt’s Fields as told through the collective memory of its community.

One park, endless amounts of experiences.

This is Myatt’s Fields.
